CRAPPPS parts played: Dame Jane, Threshing Blade (Plough Play), St George, Dragon, Eezum Squeezum (St George’s Play), Baby (Punch ‘n’ Judy Show).

Favourite Plough Play tour pub: That pub in Burton Joyce where I got to lay down in a puddle in the car park.

Whiff whaff (or other beverage) of choice: A satisfying, steamy mug of meaty Bovril.

Best CRAPPPS memory: At one St George’s Day gig I was advised not to drink the very strong cider because it was known to cause hallucinations.

Completely ignoring this advice, I downed my pint and entered the pub astride a mighty unicorn. Naked but for a peacock feather betwixt my buttocks, I defeated St George with an enormous jar of apricot preserve to the great delight of the many assembled fluffy purple swamp orcs.

They made me their princess and took me back to the land of Wappy-Dap to smother me liberally in custard.

Also, there was that time I poured gravy down my undercrackers.
